Biography

Ryan Printup is first generation guitar player born and raised in Buffalo, NY. He began playing at the age of 12 growing up with classic rock, alternative, and punk music. Eventually, he transitioned to public performances where he played talent shows, bars, venues, churches, and festivals in the Western New York area. His musical abilities now span rock, country, pop, bluegrass, worship, praise, and more. He has studied under Jason Beaudreau to further hone his skills and now plays acoustic & electric guitar and electric bass. He has additionally studied under Ned Holderby at Woodshed Music School for vocals.

Outside of music, Ryan Printup is a practicing Electrical & Software Engineer. In 2016, Ryan enrolled in the Engineering Science program at Erie Community College receiving an Associate of Science in Engineering Science degree in 2018. He then enrolled at the University at Buffalo for Electrical Engineering which included a bilateral exchange program at Sapienza Università di Roma in Rome, Italy in 2019. He graduated Cum Laude in 2021 with Bachelor of Science in Electrial Engineering. In 2022 he was issued an Intern Engineer License by the New York State Department of Education . He is currently an engineer at Fender where he works on digital guitar & bass amplifiers as well as effect pedals.
